Here are the Otaku Conventions Ten Essentials that are a must. Whether you’re a casual fan or a die-hard otaku, going to a convention for the first time can be a bit daunting. (anime, sci-fi, comic, furry, etc,…) There’s usually lots of activities to do in just a few days. Over the years, I discovered that it’s more fun if you plan ahead for any major activities and leave gaps in your itinerary for random stuff.
At your next convention, don’t be shocked if people are wearing these panty hat cosplay to support for SOX from Shimoneta. If you ever watched or read, Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai. You can’t help but notice that people are wearing a lot of undergarments on display… and not where they are intended to be worn. So, want to cosplay?
Before I knew about, “Breaking Bad”, one of the more successful costumes I made was a Hazardous Material Suit. Like all cosplays, an important issue I usually have would be, “How do I assemble a Hazmat Suit without breaking the bank?” Then next issue I deal with is, “Will it look good?”
So you have just a few days until the convention and no costume ready. Ordering one online is out of the question, it might not get delivered on time (or you pay a premium for express shipping). So what do you do? All your money is geared towards the convention. (Admission, food, dealers room, etc…)
